I’M ZHIPENG LI

I am a first-year PhD student at ETH Zurich, advised by Prof. Christian Holz.

My research interest relies on understanding how human beings perceive the virtual world, optimizing the interaction experience, and implementing interaction techniques to improve human capability in the virtual world. To achieve this, I model human perception and implement computational methods to optimize user interaction experience in Mixed Reality.

I received my B.C. and M.C. from Tsinghua University. I worked with Prof Michael Nebeling at University of Michigan and Prof Jan Gugenheimer at TU Darmstadt. I was a research intern at the Augmented Perception Lab led by Prof David Lindlbauer at CMU and the sensing, interaction & perception Lab led by Prof Christian Holz at ETH Zurich.
